After spending the summer in the high-altitude mountain pastures, the livestock returns to the stables in the valley floor at the end of September.
The Gran Festa del Desmontegar is dedicated to the traditions and dairy products of our valley, offering visitors a first-hand experience of rural life. Programme featuring tastings of local specialities, music, farm experiences and, of course, the colourful and lively parade on Sunday.

You’ll be able to see the goats, cows and horses up close, stroke rabbits and calves, and take part in the ‘Un dì al Maso’ walks to discover the traditions and customs of our valley – this year amongst the meadows overlooking the village of Siror.

Also on the programme is an à la carte cheese and Trentino wine tasting, dedicated to the Primiero dairy industry: ‘Dì del Formai’ (Cheese Day), held at Palazzo Scopoli.
