She creates illustrations for magazines, conducts painting courses and workshops for children and adults, and also develops educational projects inspired by children&#8217;s drawings for schools and museums. Lydia\u2019s works are a magical fusion of animism, symbolism, and animal anthropomorphism: a true explosion of colors that bring energy, emotion, and joy.  <\/p><p>In her home country, she earned her diploma at the <strong>Academy of Fine Arts in Enschede<\/strong>, then continued her studies at the <strong>University of Groningen<\/strong>, where she obtained a teaching qualification for schools, cultural centers, academies, and museums. Her journey continued in Italy, where she deepened her painting techniques at the <strong>Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa<\/strong> and attended various courses on training, symbolism, and the meaning of color. Her time in Italy was full of inspiration and opportunities for Jonkman, marking the beginning of a series of collaborations with important galleries and museums, including the <strong>MART<\/strong> in Trento and Rovereto.  <\/p><p>Since 2003, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, both collective and solo, without forgetting her passion for teaching: she has conducted various painting workshops for children and adults, especially in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lydiajonkman.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.lydiajonkman.nl<\/a><\/p><h2><a name=\"BAZAN\"><\/a>ALESSANDRO BAZAN<\/h2><p>Born in Palermo in 1966, he held his first solo exhibition in 1989 at the <strong>La Robinia Gallery in Palermo<\/strong>. This was followed by several group exhibitions, including the <strong>Premio Marche<\/strong> in 1990, <strong>Decouverte<\/strong> \u201992 at the <strong>Grand Palais in Paris<\/strong>, and others in 1996 in Rome, Turin, Milan, and Syracuse, as well as a solo exhibition at the Sergio Tossi Gallery in Prato. <\/p><p>In 1997, with Luoghi, alla ricerca del territorio, he was featured in a group exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern Art in San Marino and at the Anna D\u2019Ascanio Gallery in Rome.<\/p><p>In 1999, he took part in a group exhibition with Chiesi and Galliano at the Gallery of Modern Art in Bologna and at the <strong>13th Quadrennial of Art<\/strong> at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.<\/p><p>In 2000, he exhibited at the Montevergini Civic Gallery in Syracuse, took part in the Cairo Prize, and participated in the group exhibition Palermo at Galleria 61 in Palermo. In 2001, he took part in <strong>Palermo Blues<\/strong>, a group show with De Grandi, Di Marco, and Di Piazza at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo, which later traveled to Milan. <\/p><p>In 2003, he participated in <strong>Italian Factory<\/strong>, a collateral event of the <strong>Venice Biennale<\/strong>, which later traveled to Strasbourg and Turin. Meanwhile, in Palermo, he organized a two-person exhibition with Marco Cingolani at the Pantaleone Gallery, and in 2004, he exhibited in Rome at the <strong>Autori Cambi Gallery<\/strong>. <\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Alessandro-Bazan\/43731527612\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.facebook.com\/pages\/Alessandro-Bazan\/43731527612<\/a><\/p><h2><a name=\"ANGELO%20-%20JIMI%20TROTTER\"><\/a>ANGELO \u2013 JIMI TROTTER<\/h2><p>Musician and painter, he was born in Mezzano di Primiero on November 22, 1956. His background is quite unconventional: he attended the State Art High School in Verona, but eventually graduated as a mechanical designer. He has played in numerous bands, including <strong>Agu\u00e0z, Aztec Radio, Great Grey, Bluesurferband<\/strong> (a duo with his brother Cristiano), and the pop-jazz group <strong>Mansua<\/strong>, together with his two daughters.  <\/p><p>He has a strong interest in lutherie and builds the instruments he plays. Passionate about <strong>graphic design<\/strong>, over the past 30 years he has created hundreds of posters and flyers, shop signs, logos and tourist maps. He sees painting as a means of communicating with others.  <\/p><p><strong>EXHIBITIONS<\/strong>: around fifteen shows, both solo and group exhibitions, some of them also outside the province.<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/jimitrotter.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">jimitrotter.blogspot.com<\/a><\/p><h2><a name=\"MAX%20GAUDENZI\"><\/a>MAX GAUDENZI<\/h2><p>Born, living, and working in <strong>Primiero<\/strong>. He teaches at the Art Institute of Pozza di Fassa and has a <strong>small permanent exhibition in Fiera di Primiero<\/strong>. <\/p><p>He sees painting as a way to understand reality and transform it through imagination. In his work, <strong>architectural tradition<\/strong> and the surrounding <strong>nature<\/strong> become an integral part of the artwork. <\/p><p>From <strong>watercolors<\/strong> with delicate tones to oil paintings, and from <strong>assemblages<\/strong> made with <strong>wood<\/strong> and <strong>metal strips<\/strong> to drawings, Gaudenzi knows how to capture the less usual aspects of the surrounding world. In his more than ten-year career, he has explored both urban and natural territories, delving into the past or bringing to light an unusual present. <\/p><h2><a name=\"JOHANN%20NORTJE\"><\/a>JOHANN NORTJE<\/h2><p>Born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1980, he studied <strong>Visual Arts at the &#8216;TUT Arts Campus&#8217; University<\/strong> in his hometown. He still lives and works in his country of origin. <\/p><p>His works brilliantly and fantastically depict his inner and outer existence during a difficult situation like <strong>Apartheid<\/strong>. He is undoubtedly one of the most important 20th-century artists from Trentino: the only one to have had experiences on a global scale. A friend of Picasso and Chagall, he lived and worked for years on the French Riviera, after graduating from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts as a student and collaborator of Saetti.  <\/p><p>An eclectic artist, Schweizer is not only a <strong>painter<\/strong> but also a <strong>sculptor<\/strong>, <strong>designer<\/strong>, and experimenter with all kinds of materials. He has created significant works for interior and exterior architecture (one notable example is the <strong>Palais des Congr\u00e8s<\/strong> et du <strong>Cin\u00e9ma in Cannes<\/strong>, 1982), as well as ceramic and glass pieces, and numerous everyday \u201cobjects\u201d for daily life. <\/p><p>Primiero preserves Schweizer\u2019s earliest works as a young artist, such as the frescoes and tempera paintings on the <strong>little Church and Rectory of San Giovanni ai Prati Liendri <\/strong>(a great reason for a hike to these enchanting meadows above the village of Mezzano), as well as some large-scale works created by the artist over four decades using various techniques: captivating pieces in which mountains, houses, and objects of Alpine civilization hover between memory and myth.<\/p><h2><a name=\"SIMONE%20TURRA\"><\/a>SIMONE TURRA<\/h2><p>Born in Transacqua, Trento, in 1969. His training was influenced by his time at the <strong>Academy of Munich<\/strong>. His works can be linked to the words of <strong>L. Beatrice<\/strong>: \u201cBy capturing the <strong>essence of his land<\/strong>, the memory of places, without renouncing his roots, Verginer has managed to build his own, original, and iconic path. After completing his artistic studies, he began exhibiting in the early 1980s, quickly distinguishing himself for his ironic and creative language. These distinctive traits led him to collaborate with the &#8220;<strong>Concettualismo Ironico Italiano<\/strong>,&#8221; a group of artists who, through their works, offer an <strong>ironic and critical representation of reality and its clich\u00e9s<\/strong>. Over the years, Bonomi&#8217;s works have humorously questioned what is presented as the real world, through the combination of different layers created by the artist himself. His works view the <strong>reality around us with a different perspective<\/strong>, striving to provide an honest representation of it. According to the artist, continuing to lie in art could lead to the loss of the foundations of culture. Anything, whether a thought or a plant, can be useful to individuals only if it is properly cared for and ennobled. Bonomi <strong>transforms<\/strong> the <strong>objects of our daily life<\/strong>, giving them an unusual and valuable representation, at once joyful and caustic. The artist from Piedmont explores the world of creativity, where everything is still allowed, and where the rule of the latest trend or market does not apply.
